Purge Posted Expense Reports Dialog Box

You post expense reports in the Transaction Center but you use the Purge Posted Expense Report dialog box in Time and Expense to purge posted expense reports.

Location

To display the dialog box, complete the following steps:

  1. Open an expense report.
  2. Click Employees.

    Vision displays the Select Expense Report dialog box.

  3. On the Approve Expense Report grid, click Purge Reports.

Field Description
For Employee

Enter an employee number in this field if you want to purge posted expense reports for a single employee. Otherwise, leave this field blank.

To select an employee, enter an employee number directly in this field, use the Quick Find feature, or click to select an employee using the Employee Lookup.

Expense Reports with date between

Enter a start and end date in the Expense Reports with date between...and... fields. The dates you enter determine the range of dates for which Vision will purge expense reports. Vision purges all expense reports whose dates fall between the dates you enter in these fields.

You can enter dates directly in these fields (in MMDDYY format), or click in either field and select dates using the drop-down calendar.

Purge Reports Click this option to purge the selected expense reports from your database.
Cancel Click this option to exit the dialog box and return to the Approve Expense Report dialog box without purging any expense reports from your database.
