Use the Export Utility Fields Mapping tab to map ABRA fields to Vision fields, and to select which fields to include in the export. The data types in the
Expression fields exist in the Vision EM table. Each data type should have a coordinating data type that you enter, when necessary, in the
ABRA Field(s) fields.

These fields correspond to the employee fields in ABRA. You map the fields required for export in this column to the corresponding fields in Vision (as defined in the
Expression fields).

Description

These fields include descriptions of the field codes listed in the
ABRA Field(s) and
Expression fields.

Expression
|
The
Expression fields are the Vision employee fields to be mapped to the ABRA employee fields located in the
ABRA Field(s) column.
Vision exports only those ABRA fields that are marked as
Include and that do not have a blank
Expression field. If, for example, you enter
Employee in the
Expression field that is aligned with the
P_EMPNO field in the
ABRA column, and select
Include, Vision exports the Vision field into ABRA. If you leave this
Expression field blank, Vision does not export the Vision field into ABRA, regardless of whether
Include is selected.
Use the drop-down menu to change default mappings or to select a new mapping. If you try to change a mapping for a primary key field, Vision displays an error message indicating that you cannot make the change.
