Configuration Tab of the TrafficLIVE Web Service Form

A system administrator uses this tab to enable the TrafficLIVE web service and enter preferences for linking data between Vision and TrafficLIVE.

Entering information on this tab is only part of the integration configuration that you must complete before you can use the TrafficLIVE web service. For instructions on all the integration configuration that you must complete, see the Deltek Vision TrafficLIVE Integration Technical Guide.

Field Description
Enable TrafficLIVE Web Service Select this option to enable the TrafficLIVE web service. After you select this check box, the fields on the General tab and the Mapping tab of the TrafficLIVE Web Service form are enabled.
TrafficLIVE Web Service URL Enter the TrafficLIVE URL to connect the web service to the TrafficLIVE database.
User Name You must first enter a user in TrafficLive for integration purposes. You must enter an email address for the user in TrafficLive. Vision will use the credentials of this user to connect to the TrafficLIVE database whenever users run the TrafficLIVE web service in Vision to link records between the two products.

In the User Name field, enter the email address of the user that is set up in TrafficLIVE for integration purposes.

Password (Authentication Token) Enter the encrypted authentication token for the TrafficLIVE web service.
Number of Rows Per Call Enter the number of records that are sent to TrafficLIVE in one call. The maximum number of records in a call is 500. If there are more records to be sent, Vision automatically makes multiple calls and sends data in batches.
Request Timeout (Milliseconds) Enter the time in milliseconds that it takes for Vision to establish a connection to the TrafficLIVE Web Service URL and wait for a response. The default value is 10,000.
Test Connection Click this button to test the connection between Vision and the TrafficLIVE web service based on the information you entered on this tab. A dialog box displays the results.
