Allocate Employee Realization in Billing > Employee Realization

When you use the Employee Realization Reporting feature and you set it up to use the Period frequency, you must manually run Employee Realization to allocate actual employee realization on a regular basis. You can run it monthly, quarterly, or as needed.

To allocate actual employee realization when you use the Period frequency, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Billing > Employee Realization.
  2. On the Employee Realization Allocation form, select the options with which to allocate employee realization amounts.
  3. On the toolbar of the Employee Realization Allocation form, click Run. If there are no posted invoices and no billed time records in the periods that you selected for the realization allocation, the No Data to Process dialog box displays.

    If there are posted invoices and billed time records in the periods that you selected for the realization allocation, the Employee Realization Allocation dialog box displays.

  4. Select one of the following actions:
    • On the No Data to Process dialog box, click OK.
    • On the Employee Realization Allocation dialog box, review the realization allocated to employees. If necessary, edit the amounts in the Employee Specific Unit Realization column and/or the Labor Realization column and click OK.
  5. On the Employee Realization Allocation form, click the Allocate button to allocate the realization.
  6. On the Allocation Complete dialog box, click OK.

If you re-run Employee Realization, Vision replaces the previous allocation with a new allocation, which may be the same or different, depending on the options that you select on the Employee Realization Allocation form.
