Running the TrafficLIVE Web Service
Use the TrafficLIVE web service to link records between Vision and TrafficLIVE.
You run the TrafficLIVE web service in
Run or
Schedule.
. On the toolbar of the TrafficLIVE Web Service form, you click either
- When you click Run, the process starts immediately.
- When you click Schedule, you specify the options to set up the TrafficLIVE web service to run automatically at scheduled times in the future. You can schedule the service to run at recurring times. You can also set up alerts that will be sent to users when a TrafficLIVE web service job runs.
When you run the TrafficLIVE web service using either Run or Schedule, the new records that are linked or updated between Vision and TrafficLIVE are determined by the following:
- The selections that you made on the General tab of the TrafficLIVE Web Service form before you ran the TrafficLIVE web service.
- Where you created the new records and made changes to existing linked records—in Vision or TrafficLIVE.
- The status of the new records in the product (Vision or TrafficLIVE) where you create the new records.
You see a listing of all TrafficLIVE web service jobs in the TrafficLIVE Web Service Call Log grid on the General tab of the TrafficLIVE Web Service form. This grid displays information for completed, pending, and failed TrafficLIVE web service jobs. For each run, you can also view detailed information.
