Select an Existing Role

You can select an existing role to review its current settings or to copy the role and use it as the basis for a new one.

To find and select a role, complete the following steps:

1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Configuration > Security > Roles.
2. On the General tab of the Roles form, click Search.
3. In the Display Type field on the Role lookup, select one of the following settings:

   Option	Description
   Standard	Use the standard search to enter data in the Search Text field, to narrow your search.
   Advanced	The advanced search in Role Security has features that are specific to user roles and their access rights. You can set up search criteria based on security-specific fields.
