Configure Internet Explorer Security Options

Before you import from Microsoft Project, you must configure the Internet Explorer (IE) Security settings on your workstation.

To configure the IE Security settings, complete the following steps:

1. Close the Deltek Vision application.
2. From your workstation's Control Panel, select Internet Options > Security tab
3. Highlight the Local Intranet option and click the Custom Level button.

   The Security Settings dialog box displays.

4. Enable the following ActiveX Controls and Plugins option:

   Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe

5. Click OK.
6. When prompted to validate your changes, click Yes.
7. Click OK to exit the Control Panel.
8. Open Internet Explorer and click the Vision icon to open the Vision application.
