Display Three Billing Rate Multipliers on an Invoice

You can apply up to three labor multipliers to an employee's labor billing rate. By default, however, only two multipliers display on the invoice. The first multiplier is included in the employee rate.

The method described in this example displays the third multiplier in the Add-On section of the invoice. By default, the Add-On Section displays at the end of the invoice. You can use the Invoice Template Editor to format your invoice to display the Add-On section beneath the labor section.

To display three multipliers on an invoice, complete the following steps:

1. On the Billing Terms form, open the project with the labor multipliers that you want to display on the invoice.
2. Click the Labor tab and set the Labor Method to Rate times multiplier.
3. In the Multipliers fields, enter multipliers in the last two fields only; leave the first field blank.
4. Select Show Multipliers.
5. Click the Add-ons tab and select the Add-on Fees option to enable the grid.
6. Click Insert on the grid.
7. Complete the information in the following fields:

   Option	Description
   Description	Enter a description to display on the invoice, such as Labor Multiplier.
   Mult/Amt	Enter the percentage to use as your third multiplier. (After Vision multiplies the first and second multipliers to determine the labor rate, it then multiplies the labor rate by this percentage.)
   Show Mult	Select this option to display the multiplier.
   Lab	Select this option to use the multiplier for labor billing.

8. Click Save.
