Example of Account Key Conversion Combine Expense Accounts

Separate reimbursable expense accounts exist in the Standard Chart of Accounts for Structural Consultants (511.00) and Electrical Consultants (513.00). You can use the Account Key Conversion utility to combine these accounts into a single account.

To combine two expense accounts into one expense account, complete the following steps:

1. Back up your Vision database.
2. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Utilities > Key Conversions > Accounts.
3. On the Key Convert Accounts form, click Combine Existing Accounts.
4. Click Insert.
5. In the Account field, enter 511.00.
6. In the New Account field, enter 513.00.
7. Click Run to run the key conversion.
8. Click Save.
