SF330 Template Editor Dialog Box

Use the SF330 Template Editor dialog box to create and maintain SF330 merge templates. You can edit the default template set for SF330 forms, or you can make new template sets. Each page of the SF330 has a different default merge template.

To open the SF330 Template Editor, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Proposals > SF330 Proposals.
  2. On the toolbar, click Edit > Template Editor.

Field Description
Template Set Name From the drop-down list, select the name for the template set that you want to edit. If you cannot find a new template set in the list, make sure that you used the procedure to add it to the Template Editor.
Description This field shows the description for the template set that you selected.

Click the drop-down arrow on a grid header to complete any of the following actions:

  • To print grid data, click Print. On the Print Preview form, click File > Print to send the grid data to your default printer.
  • To export grid data to an Excel spreadsheet, click Export to Excel. When Microsoft Excel opens, use its features to modify, print, or email the grid data, or to save the spreadsheet file locally.
  • To turn on grouping for a grid, click Enable Grouping. When a field displays with the instruction: "Drag a column header here to group by that column," drag and drop column headers into the field, in the sequence that you want them to display.

Not all options are available on all grids.

Description This field shows the names of the SF 330 sections to which the templates correspond.
File Name This field shows the template's filename, which must end with .rtf.
Update Use this button to add a modified template to the Vision database. The template set's name and description are shown in the Template Set Name and Description fields.
Save As Click this button to make a new template set by saving the current template set with a new name.
Export Click this button to export the selected template to Microsoft Word. You open the template in Word, then change it as needed.
Delete Click this button to delete the selected template from the Vision database.
Close Click this button to close this dialog box.
Help Click this button to open the Vision online help.
