Company Timesheet Configuration Report

The Company Timesheet Configuration report summarizes the Timesheet processing options that you set up for the active company. Each section of the report corresponds to a separate tab of the Company Timesheet Configuration form.

Section/Column Description
Timesheet Administrator Options This section indicates which global processing options you selected for Timesheet users.

The options are:

  • Require timesheets to be approved before posting
  • Treat inactive projects as dormant
  • Autopopulate Timesheet with resource planning assignments
  • Enable unit quantities feature
  • Post units as they are generated (do not create a transaction file)

If an option is selected, an X displays in the box.

Timesheet User Options This section indicates which settings you selected for Timesheet users.

The options are:

  • Allow staff users to resubmit timesheets
  • Allow users to enter overtime
  • Require electronic signature when submitting timesheets
  • Require comments when hours are entered
  • Limit timesheet entry to (tenth, quarter, half, whole) hour increment
  • Enable start/end time feature
  • Hide Reverse Menu Option

If an option is selected, an X displays in the box.

Timesheet Left Grid Options This section indicates the screen display options you selected for Timesheet users. The screen display options determine how certain types of information display on the Timesheet form.

The options are:

  • Show Project — Number, Name, or Both
  • Show Phase — Number, Name, or Both
  • Show Task — Number, Name, or Both
  • Show Labor Code — Number or None
  • Show Labor Category — Number or None
  • Left grid width (0=default) — 0 or other number

The Show Labor Category option displays on the report only if you are using Vision Accounting, Vision Billing, or Vision Resource Planning.

Detailed Timesheet Report Options This section indicates which Detailed Timesheet report options that you selected for Timesheet users.

The options are:

  • Include client name on detailed timesheet report
  • Include comments on detailed timesheet report

If an option is selected, an X displays in the box.

Check hours entered against expected This section indicates the check hours message option that you selected for Timesheet users.

The options are:

  • None
  • Warning if Over
  • Warning if Under
  • Warning if Either Over or Under
  • Error if Over
  • Error if Under
  • Error if Either Over or Under

Calendar

Start Date This column shows the start date (first day) of the labor period.
End Date This column shows the end date (last day) of the labor period.
Status This column shows the status of the labor period.

The options are:

  • Open
  • Administrators
  • System administrators
  • Closed

Global Comments

Comments This section shows a complete list of all the global comments available to Timesheet users.

Employee Group

Group Code The first column in this section displays the two digit code used to identify the employee group.
Group Name The second column in this section displays the full name of the employee group.
Group Members The third column in this section displays the names of all the employees assigned to the group.

Ratios

Show Ratios This section indicates which ratio options you selected for Timesheet users. This section also indicates which Timesheet periods you selected for calculating ratios.

The Show Ratio options are:

  • Direct / Total
  • Direct / (Total -Benefit)
  • Target
  • Direct / Std
  • Direct / ( Std - Benefit)

The Timesheet period options are:

  • Show Current
  • Show Month-to-Date
  • Show Year-to-Date

If an option is selected, an X displays in the box.

Miscellaneous

Signing Notification This section displays the signing notification message (if any) that displays when employees submit their timesheets for processing.
