Print a Transfer Posting Log

Vision produces a Transfer Posting Log each time that you transfer labor transactions to another project, or within the same project, in Interactive Billing session.

The log describes all data transferred during the session. Vision creates the Transfer Posting Log when you complete your Billing session and exit Interactive Billing. For unit transfers, the data included on the log depends on the type of rate defined for the unit.

If your firm uses the Deltek First Vision Essentials cloud version of Vision, the Print option is not available. You can preview reports onscreen and then print the reports from the Preview window.

To print a Transfer Posting Log, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Transaction Center > Posting Logs.
  2. In the Transaction Type field, select the type of transfer, such as Billing Labor Transfers.
  3. Double-click the posting log to print. To identify a posting log, check the date in the Posting Date field. The report opens in a new browser window.
  4. Click Print Report.
  5. Click Close Report when you are finished.
