Use the Calculated Measures tab to create calculated measures to add to the Vision project data cube.

After you initially create a calculated measure and any time you modify it on the Calculated Measures tab, a system administrator must use the Vision Resource Kit to update the Vision Project data cube with the calculated measures.

Calculated Measures Drop-Down

The Vision grids contain a drop-down list that displays a combination of the following options:
- To print grid data, click
Print. On the Print Preview form, click
to send the grid data to your default printer.
- To export grid data to an Excel spreadsheet, click
Export to Excel. When Microsoft Excel opens, use its features to modify, print, or email the grid data, or to save the spreadsheet file locally.
- To turn on grouping for a grid, click
Enable Grouping. When a field displays with the instruction: "Drag a column header here to group by that column," drag and drop column headers into the field, in the sequence that you want them to display.

Edit Calculation

Click this option to open the Modify Calculated Measure dialog box to modify a calculated measure.

New Calculation

Click this option to open the Add Calculated Measure dialog box to create a new calculated measure.

Delete
|
Click this option to delete a calculated measure. Select the row to delete in the
Calculated Measures grid and then click this option. The row is removed from the grid.

Calculated Measures

After you enter information for a calculated measure on the Add/Modify Calculated Measure dialog box and save it, the description (name) for the calculated measure that you entered on that dialog box displays in this field.
