Determining Which Company Record is Displayed for the Employee
When you select an employee's record, the name of the company displays in the Info Center header, along with the company code.
If you select the employee record for the home company, the employee name displays in the header. But when you select an employee record for one of the associated companies, Vision displays the name of the employee and the associated company in the Employee Info Center header. For example, for employee Joseph Kardon:
- Home Company = France Engineers, Company Code 03
- Associated Company = German Design Company, Company Code 04
- Associated Company = Belgium Craft, Company Code 05
Joseph Kardon - 03 France Engineers
If you switch to view the associated German Design Company, the following displays in the header:
Joseph Kardon - 04 German Design Company
And if you switch to his Company Code 03 record, the following displays in the header:
Joseph Kardon
When an employee is associated with multiple company records, you can use the arrow buttons on the toolbar to browse through the company records.
