General Ledger Data Cube
General Ledger OLAP data cubes consist of dimensions and measures. These measures and dimensions display in the Excel 2007 PivotTable Field List in an Excel worksheet when you connect to the General Ledger data cube to create a Vision custom report.
The General Ledger measures and dimensions that you see in Excel may differ from the list in this help topic because:
-
You must purchase and activate the Vision Performance Management module to have access to the dimensions and measures added in the Vision 7.0 release.
-
You must purchase and activate the Vision Performance Management module to have access to the new Vision 7.0 Analysis Cubes Configuration. Use configuration to select which measures display in the General Ledger data cube. If you do not purchase Performance Management, all the possible measures from prior releases display in the General Ledger data cube.
Measures that are currency values display as numeric values so you can apply whatever currency symbol and decimal formatting you want in Excel. All numeric values except currency are rounded and formatted to display two decimals.
Some of the new dimensions and measures added to Analysis Cubes in Vision 7.0 work only if you have Microsoft SQL Server ™ Enterprise Edition installed. These dimensions and measures are noted in the list below.
