Payroll Run Types

You can process three types of payroll runs: Regular, Adjustments, and Bonus.

Type Description

Regular

A regular payroll run is the typical, scheduled payroll run for your employees. Depending on the Process Type that you specify in Payroll Processing, you can process a regular payroll run for one or more selected employees, or process an automatic run for all the employees in your firm with posted timesheets.

If your firm uses the date range timesheet selection method for processing payroll, you can specify that only posted timesheets within a particular date range are included in the regular payroll run. You can also specify a different range for regular versus overtime hours.

Adjustments

Use an adjustments payroll run to make changes to a payroll that has already been processed. You can use this feature to adjust pay, withholdings, regular, overtime, and secondary overtime pay hours, and accrued benefit hours.

Bonus

A bonus payroll run automates the process of giving your employees bonuses.
