Vendor Examples - Project Info Center

You can associate vendor records with project records.

Example One

If you open the project record for Columbia University and add Midtown Printing to the Vendors grid:

• Midtown Printing — and related vendor information — displays in the Vendors grid on the Team tab of Columbia University's project record.

• Columbia University — and related project information — displays in the Projects grid on the Projects tab of Midtown Printing's vendor record.

If you open the project record for Columbia University and remove Midtown Printing from the Vendors grid:

• Midtown Printing — and related vendor information — no longer displays in the Vendors grid on the Team tab of Columbia University's project record.

• Columbia University — and related project information — no longer displays in the Projects grid on the Projects tab of Midtown Printing's vendor record.

Example Two

If you open the vendor record for Midtown Printing and add Columbia University to the Projects grid:

• Columbia University — and related project information — displays in the Projects grid on the Projects tab of Midtown Printing's vendor record.

• Midtown Printing — and related vendor information — displays in the Vendors grid on the Team tab of Columbia University's project record.

If you open the vendor record for Midtown Printing and remove Columbia University from the Projects grid:

• Columbia University — and related project information — no longer displays in the Projects grid on the Projects tab of Midtown Printing's vendor record.

• Midtown Printing — and related vendor information — no longer displays in the Vendors grid on the Team tab of Columbia University's project record.
