SF254 Template Editor

Use the SF254 Template Editor to create and maintain SF254 templates. Vision SF254 Proposals is installed with a set of default merge templates. These merge templates are Rich Text File (.rtf) documents that have merge codes to copy data from the Vision database into an SF254 proposal.

Each default merge template is related to a page of the SF254 form. To make a new template set, you copy the default set, change it, and save it with a new name. To change the default merge templates, you can:

  • Enter new SF254 merge codes, to change the data that is copied to the proposal record from the Vision database.

  • Add fields to the templates that you make.

  • Change the format and layout of the SF254 form.
