ABRA Data Export Utility Overview

Use the ABRA Data Export Utility to automate the process of linking to the Abra database to collect and update your employee data in a Vision mapping table, and then export the data into Abra for processing.

After the data is exported, check its validity, and update the Employee ( HRPERSNL) table.

To use the ABRA Interface utilities, you must belong to a role that has access to ABRA Import, ABRA Export, or the entire ABRA Interface. Also, identify the System DSN on the application server as VisionABRA. This ODBC System DSN should map to the Abra database server.

    Each data type in the Expression column should have a coordinating data type that you enter, when necessary, in the appropriate Expression field on the Export Employee from ABRA form Mapping tab.
