Enterprise

In Vision, the enterprise is the umbrella under which multiple companies operate. You can think of the enterprise as the parent company. Settings at the enterprise level support cross-company transactions and reporting.

At the enterprise level, above all of the companies, you establish the following settings:

  • Work breakdown structure ( WBS). Phases and tasks within a project can be owned by different companies.

  • Fiscal calendar.

  • Chart of Accounts structure. However, individual accounts can be established by company.

  • Organization structure. Individual companies can be divided further into organizations (such as branch offices, regions, or disciplines) whose revenue and expense are tracked separately.

  • Employee, vendor, and client records, which you enter through the Info Center.
