Select Projects and Update Their Percent Complete Amounts

You can select the projects whose percent completes you want to update.

You do not have to select all projects at the same time when you update percent completes. Usually, you recalculate percent complete amounts for specific projects.

As an alternative, you can specify and save search options that select specific projects.

To select specific projects and update their percent complete amounts, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Accounting > Revenue > Revenue Generation.
  2. On the Revenue Generation form, click in the Select Specific Projects field and select one or more projects on the Project Lookup.

    An alternative is to click in the Saved Options field on the Revenue Generation form to select the search options to use.

  3. On the Revenue Generation form toolbar, click Update %, and from the drop-down menu, select Show Budget At Cost or Show Budget at Billing.

    The Update Overall Percent Completes dialog box opens. It shows project and budget data for each of the projects you selected. The data is for the lowest level of WBS that is defined for the specific project.

    If you have approval to access the Project Budget Worksheet security, you can update both of the following:

    • Overall, labor, and expense percent complete amounts.
    • For regular projects, compensation, fee, and reimbursable allowance amounts.
  4. On the Update Overall Percent Completes dialog box, update each project's data for percent complete at cost or at billing, as necessary.
  5. Click Save.
  6. If you want to run Revenue Generation, leave the form open and select projects for which to run Revenue Generation.
