View Metric Values in a Visualization Map

As you work with a visualization map, you can view the values of the metrics for which you selected the Tool Tip check box on the Metrics tab of the Options dialog box. You can also view the value of each of the metrics that is currently selected in the Size field or Color field in the Visualization window, whether or not Tool Tip is selected for those metrics.

How Vision displays metric values depends on the map style you select.

To view the metric values for a visualization map, complete the following step:

Select one of the following actions:

• To display the values for a block in an information tool tip so you can read them easily, position the mouse pointer on the block.
• To display summary metric values for a group when the visualization has more than one level of grouping, position the mouse pointer on the frame of the outer group block

Vision displays the values for the block in an information tool tip so that you can read the values easily.
