Enter the project to which you are charging units.
Depending on the settings chosen by your system administrator, the
Project field, the
Project Name field, or both display:

You can enter a project number or name directly in the field, use the Quick Find feature, or click
to use the Project Lookup.

|
Enter the task to which you are charging units.

Task Name field, or both display:

Unit
|
Enter the unit category to which you are charging the unit quantity. Enter the unit name directly in this field, use the Quick Find feature, or click
in the
Unit field to use theUnit Lookup.
If you are using Multicompany feature, the Unit Lookup shows only those units that share the same project and billing currency as the project that is referenced.

Unit Table
|
Enter the unit table to which you are charging the unit quantity. Enter a unit table directly in this field or click the drop-down arrow to select it. Projects with a status of
Dormant do not appear in the drop-down list.
|
Day/Date
|
The
Day/Date fields correspond to the calendar days in the selected labor period. These fields display the units charged, day-by-day, to each project, phase, task, and unit code combination you have defined on the timesheet.
|
Quantity
|
Enter the unit quantity you want to charge to the project for the selected day/date.
To enter a unit quantity, complete the following steps:

Click the
Day/Date field that corresponds to the day for which you are charging units to a selected project, phase, task, unit name, and unit table combination.

Click the
Quantity field and enter the appropriate number of units.

Description
|
Enter a description for the unit amount entered or, if the description already exists, select it from the drop-down list.
