Renumbering Projects Phases or Tasks

You can use the Key Conversions utility to renumber a project, phase, or task.

You can use the Key Convert Project, Key Convert Phase, and Key Convert Task screens to change project, phase, or task numbers in all associated areas of Vision. This makes it possible for you to change an existing number to a new number.

For example, you can rename project A to project B, if project B does not already exist. However, if it does exist, you must use the Combine Existing Projects option on the Key Convert Projects form in Utilities > Key Conversions.

When you change a project, phase, or task number and there is an associated Vision or iAcess for Vision plan, the associated ID will change in all related plans.
