Approve Dialog Box for Absence Requests

Use this dialog box to enter a comment for the absence request that you are approving.

Location

To display the dialog box, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Time & Expense > Absence Requests.
  2. On the Absence Requests form, use the Search field to open an absence request that is submitted and needs approval.
  3. On the toolbar of the Absence Request form, click Approvals > Approve. The Approvals option does not display unless you are assigned as an approver of the current approval step for the absence request.

Field Description
Comment Use this field to enter a note for the approval, such as the reason why you are approving it.
OK Click this button to save the comment, approve the item, and return to the entry form.
Cancel Click this button to return to the entry form without saving the comment or approving the item.
Help Click this button to open the help topic for this dialog box.
