Activity Dialog Box

Use the Activity dialog box to schedule activities, add attendees, associate contacts and leads with activities, and perform other activity-related tasks. You can use the Screen Designer to revise the layout and behavior of the tabs on the Activity dialog box.

Detail Tab of the Activity Dialog Box
Use the Detail tab to enter details for a new activity that you want to schedule or to modify details for an existing activity.
Attendees Tab of the Activity Dialog Box
Use the Attendees tab to specify the people who are assigned to an activity.
Contacts Tab of the Activity Dialog Box
Use the Contacts tab to associate multiple contacts with an activity. When you schedule an activity, you can enter one contact name in the Primary Contact field on the Detail tab of the Activity dialog box. Then you can use this tab to associate additional contacts with the activity.
Leads Tab of the Activity Dialog Box
Use the Leads tab to associate multiple leads with an activity. When you schedule an activity, you can enter one lead name in the Primary Lead field on the Detail tab of the Activity dialog box.
Recurrence Tab of the Activity Dialog Box
Use the Recurrence tab to flag an activity as a recurring event and to specify the frequency and duration of the recurrence.
User-Defined Tabs on the Activity Dialog Box
You or your system administrator can add tabs to the Activity dialog box to track additional activity information. You can add data fields and grids to each tab.
