Opportunity Options
Field | Description |
Create New Opportunities
|
Select this option if you want to use the GovWin IQ Web Service utility to transfer data for new opportunities from GovWin IQ to
Vision. When you run the import process, a new opportunity is created in the Opportunity Info Center in
Vision for each new record transferred from GovWin IQ.
Opportunity data from GovWin IQ displays on the IQ Info tab of the Opportunity Info Center.
|
Update Existing Opportunities
|
Select this option if you want to use the GovWin IQ Web Service utility to transfer updated data from GovWin IQ to
Vision for opportunities that already exist in
Vision. For updates to occur, the
Vision opportunity must be linked to a GovWin IQ opportunity through the
IQ ID field on the IQ Info tab of the Opportunity Info Center, and the status of the
Vision opportunity must be Active. If those requirements are met, the import process performs the updates for Tracked Opportunities whether or not the Tracked Opportunity is selected for downloading in GovWin IQ. However, other types of opportunities in GovWin IQ (Bid Notifications, Task Orders, and so on) must be selected for downloading in GovWin IQ if you want the import process to update the information for them in
Vision.
|
Stage for New Opportunities
|
Select the stage you want to assign to opportunities that you transfer from GovWin IQ to
Vision (Lead or Proposal, for example).
|
Email for Notifications
|
If you want to receive an email notification if the import process fails, enter an email address in this field. For example, if the Web service password expires and the import process fails as a result, this email address will receive a notification. The notification includes the text of the error message related to the failure.
