Insert Table Dialog Box

Use the Insert Table dialog box to enter table size, layout, and color for a new table that you insert via the Text Editor dialog box.

Location

To display the Insert Table dialog box, complete the following steps:

On the Text Editor dialog box, place the cursor where you want to add a new table, and click Table.

Field Description
Number of columns Enter the number of columns for the table.
Number of rows Enter the number of rows for the table.
AutoFit to page width Select this option to make the table width match the width of the Text Editor.
Fixed column width Select this option to assign a fixed width for the columns of your table. The Inch field is enabled after selecting this option. Enter the column width in the Inch field.
Header Select this option to include a header for the table.
Allow rows to break across pages Select this option so that rows with long paragraphs will be divided and continued in the next page. Otherwise, the rows with long paragraphs will start in a new page.
OK Click this button to save the entries on the Insert Table dialog box and return to the Text Editor dialog box.
Cancel Click this button to return to the Text Editor dialog box without creating a table.
