Activity Reminder Pop-up Dialog Box

The Activity Reminder Pop-up dialog box reminds you of an upcoming activity. You must be logged on to Vision to receive a pop-up reminder. If you are not logged on to Vision when a reminder is due, the reminder displays the next time that you log on.

Location

The Activity Reminder Pop-up dialog box displays when you log on to Vision and have an upcoming activity. To use pop-up reminders, you must select the Enable popup reminders check box on the Activity tab of the User Options dialog box. Then you can select the Reminder option for the activity to set a pop-up reminder to display at any time before the start time of the activity.

Reminders Grid

Fields on this grid use information that you specify on the Detail tab of the Activity dialog box.

Field	Description
Type	This field displays the activity type, such as Meetings or Phone Calls. You can define additional activity type values in the Activity Types Code Table in Code Table Configuration. You cannot set reminders for email and merge activities.
Subject	This field displays a brief description of the activity. Typically, the subject is a short descriptive statement, such as Initial Consultation, Planning Meeting, or Follow-up Visit. Click the subject text to open the Activity dialog box and display the activity details.
Date	This field displays the start date and start time for the activity.
Priority	This field displays the priority status for the activity: High, Medium, or Low.

Details Section

This section displays detail information for the activity currently selected in the Reminders grid.

Field	Description
Client	This field displays the name of the client that is associated with the activity currently selected in the Reminders grid.
Contact	This field displays the name of the contact that is associated with the activity currently selected in the Reminders grid. Click the name to open the record in the current browser window or right-click the name and then click the Open in new window option to open the record in a new browser window.
Contact Phone	This field displays the phone number of the contact that is associated with the activity currently selected in the Reminders grid.
Opportunity	This field displays the name of the opportunity that is associated with the activity currently selected in the Reminders grid. Click the name to open the record in the current browser window or right-click the name and then click the Open in new window option to open the record in a new browser window.
Project	This field displays the name of the project that is associated with the activity currently selected in the Reminders grid.
Notes	This field displays any notes that are related to the activity currently selected in the Reminders grid.

Action Section

Use the options in this section to set another "snooze" reminder or to dismiss activity reminders.

Field	Description
Click Snooze to remind me in	Use the drop-down list in this field to set another reminder for one or all activities displayed in the Reminders grid. To set another reminder for a single activity, select the activity in the Reminders grid, choose a time in the Click Snooze to remind me in field, and click Snooze. To set another reminder for all activities in the Reminders grid, select a time in the Click Snooze to remind me in field, and click Snooze All.
Snooze	Click this button to set another reminder for a single activity that is displayed in the Reminders grid. To set another reminder for a single activity, select the activity in the Reminders grid, choose a time in the Click Snooze to remind me in field, and click Snooze. Vision displays another pop-up reminder for the selected activity at the specified time.
Snooze all	Click this button to set another reminder for all the activities displayed in the Reminders grid. To set another reminder for all activities in the Reminders grid, select a time in the Click Snooze to remind me in field, and click Snooze All. Vision displays another pop-up reminder for the activities at the specified time.
Dismiss	Click this button if you do not want to receive any additional reminders for a selected activity in the Reminders grid.
Dismiss all	Click this button if you do not want to receive any additional reminders for all the activities that display in the Activities grid.
