Schedule Key Format Conversions

Deltek recommends that you not change key formats during processing. You can schedule key format conversions to run via the process server, off hours.

When you schedule a key format conversion to run at a later time, changes made to the table after that scheduling but before the process runs are included in the run. For example, on Monday afternoon you schedule a project key format conversion to run on Monday night. All projects entered between Monday afternoon and Monday night are included in the run.

To schedule a key format conversion run:

1. On the Key Format form, click Schedule. Vision displays a warning message.
2. Click OK.
3. Complete the fields on the Schedule dialog box.
4. Click OK.
