Set Up Crew Assignment

You must enter values in the required fields on the Manage Assignment of Employees to Crews screen to set up crew assignments.

To set up a crew assignment:

  1. Enter a Crew ID to identify the crew.
  2. In the Name field, enter a description of the crew.
  3. Enter the Effective Date.
  4. In the Crew Chief field, enter, or click to select, the ID of the employee who will assume the position of crew chief.

    The names, IDs, and local ID of the employees that are eligible to join the crew are automatically displayed in the Employees table.

  5. In the Employees table, select the employees that you want to assign to the crew.
  6. Click Select to move the selected employees to the Selected Employees table.

    To remove an employee from the Crew column, select that employee, then click Delete to mark the row for deletion.

  7. Click to save the new crew assignment.
