Contents of the Manage Standard Text Screen
Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Standard Text screen.
Identification
Field | Description |

Project |
Enter, or click to select, a valid project to which you want to assign standard text. The unlabeled field to the right displays the name of the selected project. |
Standard Text Codes
This table window displays the text codes and descriptions available for selection. You must set up text codes in Costpoint Product Definition or Purchasing before they appear in this table. To view the available selections, use the arrows to scroll through the table window.

This field displays the revision of the standard text code. |

This field displays the description of the standard text code/revision. |
Select |
When you have highlighted the codes for the specific project, click the Select button to transfer them to the Standard Text table window. |
Standard Text
This table window displays the text codes that were selected for a project. After you select a code, its default status (the Autoload Active check box) is selected, but you can modify it.

Text Code |
This field displays the selected standard text code. For a new row, enter, or click to select, the standard text code that you want to assign to the selected project. |
Rev |
This field displays the revision of the selected standard text code. For a new row, enter, or click to select, the revision of the standard text code. |
Description |
This field displays the description of the selected standard text code/revision. |
Autoload Active |
This check box is selected by default, but you can modify it. Keep it selected to activate the text code/revision for autoloading purposes (that is, the text code/revision will load into the Line Text subtask, available in various applications, when you click the Autoload button on that subtask). |
Text Active |
If selected, this check box indicates that the standard text code/revision combination is currently active. For new rows, you will not be able to enter a text code/revision that is inactive. For previously saved rows, if Text Active is not selected, the Autoload Active check box remains unchanged, but you will not be able to use these rows in new records in downstream applications (for example, PO line texts) regardless of the Autoload Active check box setting. |
