Manage Cobra Project Mapping

Use this screen to initialize the links between Costpoint projects and Cobra projects which will be used in the transfer of actual costs to Cobra.

When mapping projects, you can either select the Use Mapping Table option or the Costpoint Top Level Project = Cobra Project option on the Configure Cobra Interface Settings screen. If you select the Use Mapping Table option, only the Costpoint projects that are mapped will be extracted. Otherwise, if you select the Costpoint Top Level Project = Cobra Project option, you enter the exceptions or Costpoint projects that will not be extracted.

Also, if you select the Use Mapping Table option, you can link multiple Costpoint projects to one Cobra master project. Otherwise, If you select the Costpoint Top Level Project = Cobra Project option, you only need to define exceptions in the mapping table.

Select the Cobra Project check box on the Manage Project User Flow screen to identify the project as a Cobra project .

Complete the information on this screen before you attempt to transfer actual costs to Cobra. To facilitate the data validation and lookup lists, enter the connection data for the Cobra database in the Cobra Software Location field of the Configure Cobra Interface Settings screen.
