Workflow Options Tab

Use this tab to configure notification options for Benefits Enrollment.

General

Field Description
Include Employee Name in Email Subject Line

Select this check box to include the name of the employee in the subject line of the email.

Location of Name

From the drop-down list, select the placement of the name in the subject line, either before or after the subject.

Benefits Enrollment

Field Description
# of Days Remaining
  • Initial: The # of Days Remaining field is disabled for the Initial row.
  • Upgrade Medium: Select the number of days remaining in the benefits enrollment period. This controls when the benefits enrollment is upgraded to medium priority.  
  • Upgrade High: Select the notification method for the benefits enrollment. The system sends notifications based on priority by using the Self Service Status inquiry.  You can automate the notifications using the Scheduled processes feature.
Initial - Notify Employee

Select the first notification method for the benefits enrollment period, indicating what notification method you would like to use.

  • None: No notification will be sent.
  • E-Mail: An e-mail notification will be sent.
E-mail Employee on Confirmation

If you select this check box, employees will be notified via e-mail after confirming their benefits enrollment elections.

E-mail Third Party Role on Confirmation

If you select this check box, all employees attached to functional role #1 will be notified via e-mail when employees have confirmed their benefits enrollment elections.

E-mail Third Party Role if Elections Require Approval

If you select this check box, all employees attached to the functional role selected below will be notified via e-mail when an employee has initiated benefits enrollment, if the employee selects a benefit that requires approval.

Third Party Email

If a Third Party check box, enter the e-mail address of the third party in this field.
