Labor Project Manufacturing
The Project Manufacturing features integrate Costpoint with Costpoint Manufacturing Execution (MES) and Costpoint Shop Floor Time (SFT), which allow you to plan and cost jobs based on project requirements and track details while maintaining the integrity on the manufacturing floor.
Also, the integrated accounting, project management, and materials functionalities allow you to resolve day-to-day capacity and resource planning, procurement, inventory, and production issues.
In Labor, if you are licensed for MES and/or SFT, you can use the Project Manufacturing functionality in the following screens:
- Manage Timesheets: This screen displays the name of the product (for example, Shop Floor Time) or Costpoint application which generated the timesheet header and line. If the timesheet header is from SFT, this screen also indicates the processing status of the timesheet in SFT.
- Configure Labor Settings: This screen allows you to select the method to be used when determining the date of correcting timesheets that are imported from SFT. This screen also allows you to update the organization default method, account validation method, and account default method for manufacturing order timesheet lines.
- Export Project Manufacturing Data: This screen allows you select the rules for exporting Costpoint data to MES and/or SFT. You also run the export process from this screen.
