Use this tab to enter Human Resources-related job information.

This tab is available only if you have a license for Costpoint Human Resources.

Field Description
Personnel Action

Enter, or click to select, up to a personnel action code which will apply to the new employee. This code is validated against the Personnel Action table. If you are not using Costpoint Human Resources, this field is not available.

Review Form

If you use Costpoint Human Resources, enter the review form code, or click to select the desired review form. If you established settings on the Manage Performance Review Form Defaults screen, a code defaults from that table.

Affirmative Action Plan

If known, enter, or click to select, the Affirmative Action Plan to which the employee will be assigned. You must first establish an affirmative action plan in Costpoint Affirmative Action before you can assign it to employee records. You must specify a labor location when you assign an affirmative action plan to the employee. The affirmative action plan codes that you assign to employees are used in the reports available in the Affirmative Action menu.

If the job template’s Labor Location and Taxable Entity are assigned to an Affirmative Action Plan as of the job template target date on the  Manage Affirmative Action Plans screen, the Affirmative Action Plan will default for you.

If you are not using Costpoint Human Resources, this field is not available.

Compensation Plan

If you use Costpoint Human Resources, enter, or click to select, the compensation plan for the job template. Upon assignment to the employee, Costpoint checks the Compensation Plans table and validates that there is a salary range in effect for this plan and the effective date of the record.

If you are not using Costpoint Human Resources, this field is not available.

Step

If you use Costpoint Human Resources and using a Step-type plan, enter, or click to select, the step that applies to this job template.  If you specified a Step-type Compensation Plan in this screen, a Step must also be specified.

If you are not using Costpoint Human Resources, this field is not available.

Grade

This field displays the grade assigned to the functional job title that is linked to the selected detail job title.

EEO Code

This field displays the EEO code assigned to the functional job title that is linked to the selected detail job title.

Job Category

This field displays the job category assigned to the functional job title that is linked to the selected detail job title.

Corporate Officer

This check box displays whether or not the selected detail job title is a corporate officer position.
