Manage Resource Information
Use the Manage Resource Information screen to provide all information for an employee.
If the Employee Security feature is enabled employee records that you have access to are based on your functional role, and you cannot view or update a new employee record until that employee is added to the group you supervise.
The Pay Methods tab is only available if your company is licensed for Deltek Expense, and the Charge Favorites tab is only available if your system is set up to provide direct access to a Costpoint database for charge lookups.
You cannot delete an employee record if the Employee ID is found in any of the following:
- Timesheet
- Timesheet Audit
- Timesheet Revision
- Expense Report
- As an attendee on an Expense Report
- Expense Report Revision
- Expense Authorization
- Expense Authorization Revision
- Screen Parameter
- Scheduled Process

The Manage Resource Information screen is located in the Configuration module. - Screen Fields
Use the fields on the Manage Resource Information screen to enter basic employee information. - Access Subtask
Use the Access subtask screen to identify the system or modules that are accessible to the employee. - Miscellaneous Subtask
Use the Miscellaneous subtask screen to enter miscellaneous employee information. - History Subtask
Use the History subtask screen to maintain employee history information. - Leave Subtask
Use the Leave subtask screen to view and edit employee leave transactions. - Group Membership Subtask
Use the Group Membership subtask screen to view the groups of which this employee is a member and/or the groups that the employee supervises. - Defaults Subtask
Use the Defaults subtask screen to maintain employee preference settings. You can also access these settings from the menu navigation area. - Pay Methods Subtask
Use the Pay Methods subtask screen to identify the methods by which the employee will pay for expenses.
