Federal Withholding Tab
You can access this tab on the screen when a when a life event is in process.
The amount of income tax your employer withholds from your regular pay depends on the amount you earn and the information you gave to your employer on the Federal Withholding form (also called Form W-4).
Complete the Federal Withholding (Form W-4) so that your employer can withhold the correct federal income tax from your pay. Since events during the year may change your filing status or the exemptions that you expect to claim on your return, you may need to provide your employer with new information and update the Federal Withholding form as necessary.
Note: If the system does not find any current records, an error message displays indicating that no current federal information is on record.
This contains the following tabs:
- Federal Withholding: Use this tab to view your Federal Withholding information that your employer uses to figure your withholding.
