Opportunity Teammates/Competitors Subtask
Use this subtask to associate one or more prime contractors, subcontractors, and/or competitors with the opportunity and define their roles.
You can assign the same role to multiple contractors, subcontractors, or competitors.

This field displays either Competitor or the customer/vendor type of the prime contractor/subcontractor that you want to associate with the opportunity.

ID |
If you selected Prime, enter, or click to select, the customer or prospective customer that you want to assign as a prime contractor for the opportunity. If you selected Subcontractor, enter, or click to select, the vendor or prospective vendor that you want to assign as a subcontractor for the opportunity. By default, only vendors with a status of Active or Give Warning are displayed in the lookup, but you can manually enter inactive vendors. You can also use the Status query condition option on the Query tab of the Query dialog box of this field to search for inactive vendors. If you selected Competitor, enter, or click to select, the competitor that you want to associate with the opportunity. By default, only competitors with a status of Active on the Manage Competitors screen are displayed in the lookup, but you can manually enter inactive competitors. |
Name | This field displays the prime contractor, subcontractor, or competitor name. |
Role Description |
Enter, or click to select, the role that you want to assign to the prime contractor, subcontractor, or competitor. Valid values are only those that exist on the Manage Contract Management Roles screen and for which the following check boxes are selected:

Include in Work Force | This check box is enabled only if Teammate/Competitor is set to Subcontractor. Select this check box to include the subcontractor in the vendor work force when the opportunity is won and a project and a contract are linked to the opportunity. |
PLC | This field is enabled only if Teammate/Competitor is set to Subcontractor. Enter, or click to select, a project labor category (PLC) to assign to the subcontractor. |
Default PLC |
This check box is required only when you specify a PLC for the subcontractor. If you entered multiple rows for the subcontractor and the subcontractor is associated with different PLCs, select the check box corresponding to the PLC that you want to use as a default for the subcontractor when it works on a project associated with the opportunity. |
Address Code | This field displays the address code for the prime contractor or subcontractor. This field is inactive for competitors. |
Address 1, Address 2 | These fields display the prime contractor or subcontractor's street address and any address information other than the city, state/province, country, or postal code. These fields are inactive for competitors. |
City | This field displays the city of the prime contractor or subcontractor. This field is inactive for competitors. |
State/Province | This field displays the state/province of the prime contractor or subcontractor. This field is inactive for competitors. |
Zip/Postal Code | This field displays the ZIP or postal code of the prime contractor or subcontractor. This field is inactive for competitors. |
