Manage Termination Reasons
Use this screen to enter and maintain termination reasons.
These are the reasons that describe why an employee has been either voluntarily or involuntarily terminated. You can assign a termination reason code to a terminated employee in the Employment History subtask on the Manage Employee Information screen. A termination reason must be specified for a terminated employee if you are using Deltek Talent Management.
If you use Deltek Talent Management, the Talent Management Termination Reason Codes in this table must be the same as the termination reason codes in Deltek Talent Management. You must manually maintain the two systems so that these tables stay in sync. If you are not using Deltek Talent Management, the Talent Management Termination Reason Code field will be disabled.
Deltek has initialized your Termination Reasons (TERM_REASON) table with the same termination reasons that are provided to new Deltek Talent Management clients. Please remember that you must also update the Talent Management Separation Reasons if you:
- Edit an existing termination reason code in Deltek Talent Management (the same change must be made to the Talent Management Termination Reason Code on this screen)
- Add a new termination reason code
- Delete an existing termination reason code
