Timesheet Rights Tab

Use the Timesheet Rights tab to specify rights in the Time module for the selected functional role.

This tab displays only if you are licensed for Deltek Time.

Timesheet

Field Description
View

Select this check box to give users that have this functional role the rights to view their employees’ timesheets. If you are adding a new Functional Role Code, this check box will be unchecked by default. If you select the Modify or Approve (Timesheet) check boxes, this View check box will become checked if it was not previously.

Modify

Select this check box to give users that have this functional role the rights to modify their employees' timesheets. If you are adding a new Functional Role Code, this check box will be unchecked by default.

Approve

Select this check box to give users that have this functional role the rights to approve their employees' timesheets. If you are adding a new Functional Role Code, this check box will be unchecked by default.

Load Employee Favorites Select this check box to give users that have this functional role the rights to load Favorites when modifying their employees' timesheets. If you are adding a new Functional Role Code, this check box is enabled only when you select the Modify check box.

Work Schedule

Field Description

Select this check box to give users that have this functional role the rights to view their employees’ schedule. If you are adding a new Functional Role Code, this check box will be unchecked by default. If you select the Modify or Approve (Work Schedule) check boxes, this View check box will become checked if it was not previously.

Modify

Select this check box to give users that have this functional role the rights to modify their employees' schedule. If you are adding a new Functional Role Code, this check box will be unchecked by default.

Approve

Select this check box to give users that have this functional role the rights to approve their employees' schedule. If you are adding a new Functional Role Code, this check box will be unchecked by default.

User-Defined Rates

This section will display if you are calculating rates as defined in the Miscellaneous tab of the Configure Time Settings screen. See Concept Topic: Labor Costing for more details.

Rate 1

The label for the Rate 1 field will reflect what you set up in the Miscellaneous tab in the Configure Time Settings screen.

Select this check box to give users that have this functional role the rights to view their employees' rate 1. If you are adding a new Functional Role Code, this check box will be unchecked by default.

Modify

Select this check box to give users that have this functional role the rights to modify their employees' rate 1. If you are adding a new Functional Role Code, this check box will be unchecked by default.

Rate 2

The label for the Rate 2 field will reflect what you set up in the Miscellaneous tab in the Configure Time Settings screen.
