Timesheet Correction Status

If you are a supervisor, use the Timesheet Correction Status screen to review and manage timesheet correction requests from employees who report to you. You can approve or reject the employee's request.

Location

To display the Timesheet Correction Status screen, complete the following steps:

  1. Click Time & Expense > Time > Timesheet Reports/Inquiries > Timesheet Correction Status.

Screen Fields

Field Description
Employee This field displays the name of the employee who has submitted the timesheet correction request.
Schedule This field displays the employee's pay period schedule, for example, Weekly or Semi-Monthly.
Period Ending This field displays the period ending date for the timesheet for which the employee has submitted the correction request.
Request Date This field displays the date the employee submitted the correction request.
Request Reason This field displays the reason the employee entered for making the correction request.
Function This field displays the functional role of the supervisor responsible for approving or rejecting the correction request.
Assigned To This field displays the name of the supervisor to whom the approve/reject role has been assigned.
Rejection Reason If you are rejecting the employee's request to correct a timesheet, enter your reason in this field. When you have finished, click Reject.
Approve Click this button to approve the employee's correction request. When you approve the request, the timesheet period is opened for the employee, who is then notified (by Email or Task) that the timesheet is now available for correction. The Correct button is enabled on the employee's timesheet.
Reject Click this button to reject the employee's correction request. The employee will receive notification of the rejection.
