Print 1095-CS
Use the Print 1095-CS screen to print 1095-Cs that will be provided to IRS and to full-time employees which is required under the IRS Affordable Care Act.
According to the IRS, employers must send employees their 1095-C forms by the end of January each year. Information must be sent to the IRS by the end of February if paper filed, or by the end of March if the forms are filed electronically.
Employers with fewer than 250 forms to send to the IRS can file paper 1095-C forms, accompanied by a paper 1094-C. They can also file electronically. Employers with 250 or more forms must transmit the information electronically. If you have more than 250 employees, use the Create 1094-C and 1095-C Electronic File screen for reporting.
Note: if you are printing employees with information in Part III, Covered Individuals. You must run the application with
Page 1 option selected and then you must run the application again with
Page 2 option selected. Once printed, you will need to match the Page 2 up with the appropriate 1095-C Page 1 before submitting to the IRS or providing to employees.
The screen provides the following print options:
- Print 1095-Cs Current Report Layout: Select this option to report 1095-C data using the current report layout. Select this option if you entered 2020 or later in the Calendar Year field.
- Print 1095-Cs Prior Report Layout: Select this option to report 1095-C data using the 2019 report layout. Select this option if you entered
2019 or
2018 in the
Calendar Year field.
Note: Costpoint no longer supports the printing of 1095-C for calendar years earlier than 2018.
