  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Security Clearances Subtask

Use this subtask to assign security clearances to an employee record on the Manage Employee Security screen.

Field Description
Security Clearance System ID Enter, or click to select, the security clearance system ID. The unlabeled field to the right displays the description of your selection. Security Clearance System IDs are established in the Manage Security Clearance Settings screen. A security clearance is a determination by the United States Government that a person is eligible for access to classified information.
Level

This disabled data field displays the Security Clearance Level associated with the specified Security Clearance System ID. Valid security clearance levels are:

  • Confidential
  • Clearance
  • Secret
  • Top Secret
SCI This check box displays the status of the SCI flag for the Security Clearance System ID. The check box will be selected if the security clearance system ID applies to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Otherwise, it is not selected.
SAP This check box displays the status of the Special Access Program (SAP) flag for the Security Clearance System ID. The check box will be selected if the security clearance system ID applies to SAP. Otherwise, it is not selected.
Issuing Agency Enter the name of the agency that issued that security clearance.
Effective Date Enter, or click to select, the effective date of the security clearance.
Requested Date Enter, or click to select, the requested date of the security clearance.
Investigation By Use this free-form field to enter the name of the investigation service provider.
Expiration Date Enter, or click to select, the expiration date of the security clearance.
Investigation Type Enter the type of investigation conducted.
Reinvestigation Date Enter, or click to select, the reinvestigation date of the security clearance.
Investigation Date Enter, or click to select, the effective date of the security clearance investigation.
