Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Find

Use Find on the Application Toolbar to quickly locate records in applications and subtasks. Find is available in form-type maintenance applications.

As you enter text in the Find field , suggestions that begin with this text display in a drop-down list.

Choose a result to display the record or click Find Records at the bottom of the list to display all the records that satisfy the query. This feature is available in Auto-Positioning mode only and when all records are not visible on the screen or on the subtask.
