Assigned Users/User Groups Subtask

Use the table window on this subtask to link specific users and/or user groups to one or more messages in the Administrative Messages table window.

Set up the table window on this subtask before you use the administrative messaging features in Costpoint. Also, you must first set up users and/or user groups on the Manage Users or Manage User Groups screen.

Assigned Users/User Groups

Use this table window to specify users and/or user groups you want to link to messages defined on the Administrative Messages main screen.

Click to add a new entry to this table window.

Field Description
User / User Group

Enter, or click binoculars.gif to select, the user(s) and/or user group(s) that should have rights to view the message selected in the Administrative Messages table window.

Note: You must specifically assign users and/or user groups to administrative messages. Costpoint does not automatically assign system defaults.
Name

This field displays the descriptive name for this User / User Group.

Company

Enter, or click binoculars.gif to select, the company for which this setting applies.
