Timesheet Subtasks

Use timesheet subtasks to view leave balances, revisions, and manage charge favorites. Depending on your timesheet class, other subtasks may display. Access subtasks by clicking the More drop-down list at the top of the timesheet.

Charge Favorites Subtask

Charge Favorites displays all of the timesheet charges you have added as favorites.

Advanced Charge Search Subtask

Use the Advanced Charge Search subtask to find project charges by project manager or by Project Labor Category (PLC).

Leave Dialog Box

Use the Leave dialog box to view leave balances and leave time taken and accrued.

Revision Audit Subtask (View Revisions)

Use the Revision Audit subtask to view all of the revisions made to the current timesheet.

Time In/Out Subtask

Use the Time In/Out subtask to record your starting and stopping times and your work and non-work hours. This subtask is available only if your company uses the Time In/Out feature.

Start Stop Times Subtask

Labor laws in some states (California, for example) require that, in some cases, employees track and record start and stop times for each new task and for breaks and meals. Use the Start/Stop Times subtask to record this information. This subtask is available only if your company uses the Start/Stop Times feature.

Overtime Distribution Subtask

Use the Overtime Distribution subtask to view the overtime hours that were automatically calculated by Time & Expense based on regular hours entered.

Pay Type Summary Subtask

Use the Pay Type summary subtask to view a total of hours according to pay type.

Charge Tree Lookup Dialog Box

When you click in any of the cells that contain primary charge codes (UDT01 or UDT02) on the left pane of the timesheet, you will see a dialog box with a charge tree. The only exception is if your timesheets are set up to provide charge lookups directly from the Costpoint database.
