Costs Subtask
Use the Costs subtask to view the cost element information on the selected issue line.
This subtask is disabled if cost information is suppressed for your user ID on the Manage Users screen in Costpoint System Administration.
Use this subtask whenever you need to view the cost detail for the part in the selected issue line.

Field | Description |

Manufacturing Order |
This column displays the manufacturing order ID of the line selected on the main screen. |
MO Type |
This field displays the MO type as Standard, Customer Repair, or Rework. |
MO Status |
This field displays the MO Status as Planned, Firm Planned, Released, In-Shop, Completed, or Closed. |
Build Part |
This field displays the ID of the part that is built in the MO selected on the main screen. |
Rev |
This field displays the revision level for the build part. |
Direct Cost Elements

Material |
This field displays the cost per unit amount of material for the part. |
Labor |
This field displays the cost per unit amount of labor for the part. |
Subcontract |
This field displays the cost per unit amount of subcontracted services for the part. |
Misc 1 |
This field displays the cost per unit amount of miscellaneous 1 expense for the part. |
Misc 2 |
This field displays the cost per unit amount of miscellaneous 2 expense for the part. |
Total |
This field displays the direct total cost, which is the sum of all direct material, labor, subcontract, miscellaneous 1, and miscellaneous 2 cost amounts. |
Burden Cost Elements
Field | Description |

Material |
This field displays the cost per unit amount of material burden for the part. Material burden is the cost added to cover overhead expenses. |
Labor |
This field displays the cost per unit amount of labor burden for the part. Labor burden is the cost added to cover overhead expenses. |
Subcontract |
This field displays the cost per unit amount of subcontract burden for the part. Subcontract burden is the cost added to cover overhead expenses. |
Misc 1 |
This field displays the cost per unit amount of miscellaneous 1 burden for the part. Miscellaneous 1 burden is the cost added to cover overhead expenses. |
Misc 2 |
This field displays the cost per unit amount of miscellaneous 2 burden for the part. Miscellaneous 1 burden is the cost added to cover overhead expenses. |
Total | This field displays the total burden cost, which is the sum of all burden material, labor, subcontract, miscellaneous 1, and miscellaneous 2 cost amounts. |
Hours Cost Elements
Field | Description |

Labor |
This field displays the number of labor hours that have been charged to the MO. |
Subcontract |
This field displays the number of subcontract hours that have been charged to the MO. |
Total |
This field displays the sum of all the labor and subcontract hours that have been charged to the MO. |
Other Cost Elements
Field | Description |

Unit Cost |
This field displays the total of all cost elements entered as the total unit cost for this part. This unit cost is also displayed in the Unit Cost field of the Enter Issues to Project/Account/Org or PO screen in Costpoint Inventory. |
Relieved Costs | This field displays all relieved costs associated with the MO. |
Unrelieved Costs | This field displays all relieved costs associated with the MO. |
Total MO Costs |
This field displays all total costs associated with the MO once the status is Completed for all component, subassembly, and build part transactions. |
