Contents of the Revenue Integration Screen

This screen is used by project managers to view, calculate, and approve, by project, the latest Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Completion (EAC), and the % Complete amounts.

Note: Any user with access to Costpoint Planning can upload ETC, EAC, and % Complete amounts. These amounts can also be rejected and returned to the Project Manager for re-calculation and approval.

This application only displays budgets/EACs that are marked as final on the Project Budgets / EACs screen.

Approved amounts can then be exported from Costpoint Planning to Costpoint® using the Upload feature.

When using the Costpoint Revenue Integration application, note the following:

  • All values for calculating ITD (inception-to-date) costs, revenue, cost at completion, EAC, ETC, or percent complete come from either the most current approved EAC, or if there is no EAC, the most current approved budget for the project.
  • The Costpoint Planning Accounting Period you select determines the calculation for ITD and ETC costs. Anything before or including the selected period is considered ITD, while anything later is considered ETC. In other words, the most recent approved budget or EAC is used regardless of the Costpoint Planning Period selected.

Field Description
Project ID

Enter the Project ID or click to query or sort your search.

End Date

Enter the End Date or click to query or sort your search.

Report Columns

Use this option to filter report information by columns. The columns you select will be displayed in the Projects Table. Options include the following:

  • Description
  • Project Manager
  • Active
  • End Date
  • Owning Org
  • Source
  • Version
  • BUD/EAC Approval Date
  • Status
  • Rev Formula
  • ITD Cost
  • ITD Revenue
  • Cost AT Completion
  • EAC
  • ETC
  • % Complete

  • Calculated Date

  • Comment
Select All

Click this button to select all Report Column options.

Deselect All

Click this button to clear all Report Column options.

Projects Table

The content of this table depends on the selected report column options.

Field Description
Calculate

Click this button to calculate the revenue.

When you click this button, the version number and version code of the budgets/EACs display in the Version column.

Approve

Click this button to approve the revenue. You can only click Approve when the Status of the Project is Calculated.

Clear Status

Click this button to clear the status in the Projects table.

Upload

Click this button to upload the revenue.

When you click this button, the History subtask is populated and the version number and version code of the uploaded budgets/EACs display in the Version column on the History subtask.

Reject

Click this button to reject the revenue.

Note: You can only click Upload or Reject when the Status of the Project is Approved.

History

Click this link to displays a table of all calculations that are uploaded into Costpoint.
