Prime Contract Information

Field | Description |
---|---|
Contract ID |
Enter, or click to select, the contract ID that you want to associate with the subcontract. If an opportunity ID has already been entered (that is, in Manage Contracts, the opportunity ID was assigned to the contract under the General tab, not on the Additional Opportunities subtask), you can click to select any contract directly related to the opportunity ID. However, any active contract that exists in Manage Contracts can be entered in this field. The unlabeled field to the right displays the contract name as a hyperlink that you can click to open the Manage Contracts screen and view additional information about the contract. If you have assigned a prospective vendor to the subcontract through the Subcontractor/Vendor ID field in the header, you will not be able to link a contract ID to this subcontract record. When you try to enter a contract ID and save the record, Costpoint displays an error message. Note: The ability to assign prospective vendors to subcontracts is added in Costpoint 8.2.12. If you are in Costpoint Cloud, you can choose to opt in to this feature. The ability to opt in is temporary and will be removed when the feature becomes automatically enabled for all users as part of a future Costpoint release. See the
Manage Opt-In Features topic for more information.

Aggregate Subcontract Value | This field displays the aggregate subcontract value for all subcontracts with the same prime contract number and contract task order. Subcontract modifications can be entered and viewed on the Subcontract/Project Modifications subtask of the Modifications tab of Manage Subcontracts. |
